The South West Region’s Goalden Globes Awards were held at Taunton School on Sunday 21st June to celebrate the achievements and hard work of coaches and volunteers throughout the region.
Volunteers are the lifeblood of sport and provide the foundations of our sporting nation. The work of all of our volunteers is greatly appreciated by the Region and England Netball. Throughout the SW Region there are a great number of volunteers that help from grassroots to the elite, sharing expertise to help develop Netball within the Region and dedicating hours of time and energy.
This years National Goalden Globe Awards evening took place on Saturday 19th September. Volunteers from across the SW came together under one roof for an afternoon of glitz and glamour to recognise the outstanding contributions that volunteers make to our sport.
Several YNC coaches and volunteers were nominated for the awards but unfortunately missed out on taking anything home this year.
